On November 22, 2025, the Chinese Democratic Party held a rally in New York City’s Times Square to support Hu Yang, who was imprisoned for his speech. The Chinese Communist Party is a dictatorial government that has long used vague charges to suppress freedom of expression. We call on the CCP to immediately release Hu Yang and urge the international community to pay attention to this case and support fundamental human rights and freedoms.
